The team, which had already won the South Conference, participated in the RBC Provincial Day of Champions on Friday, April 7, 2017, at the LCLC in Bridgewater, taking on the North Conference winners Cape Breton West Port Hood/Mabou Islanders for the Provincial title.
The Cougars took the game with a 6-3 victory over the Islanders to become the Provincial Atom B Champions. Congratulations to all athletes and coaches on a successful season.
